No More Box Color with Jeanise

Girls Girls Girls…. Rule #1 Don’t ever take hair color matters into your own hands. You can easily end up spending double or triple your money in the salon to fix your hair. Spring is in the air and there is nothing worse than a box blonde gone wrong. Blondes in a box can be very deceiving and what looks like one thing to you will look different to an expert with a trained eye for color. Your best bet would be to shop around, book yourself a few consultations and then decide what’s best for you. A great colorist will give you options to suit your lifestyle and wallet. I always say you could never go wrong with highlights in warm velvety tones or cooler, creamier ultra light tones depending on your skin tone. If you tend to have pink or red undertones in your skin, you want to go with cooler tones to really soothe any redness. If you have more olive tones, you really want to go with warmer tones like honey and almond colors that are more complimentary to the skin. Like magic, hair color can really transform any unwanted tones and compliment a beautifully shaped haircut. Highlights can always be a great choice because you don’t ever have a harsh line of demarcation which will allow you to color your hair every 3 to 6 months depending on how strong your wave pattern is. 1. I have to agree with Ms. Aviles, and I would like to add the importance of knowing that the stylist is knowledgeable in his/her field. Before going to Ms. Aviles for my hair, I got my hair highlighted for what I thought was a great price only to really hate the way it came out. Ms. Aviles made my hair look more natural but still fun. I would recommend her highly.
