Beach Hair Waves in the Fall! by Anna Bollozos

The gorgeous beach hair is an easy, breezy, beautiful look and simple to pull off.  Don’t you just love that look once  you get out off the water for that quick swim in the ocean?  Well, you don’t have to go to the beach to get full, wavy, salt-water hair.  Even if your hair is normally flat and limp, you can achieve that great beach hair style at home with just the right product.

Introducing, the new No 14 Sea Salt Primer by Davines.  Just a few spray on damp hair will give you texture and volume.  I myself,  have tried it and it is one of my favorite products from Davines.  I constantly try to give my hair a bit of that texture look with a curling iron or even just scrunching it with hairspray.  But the Sea Salt Primer by far has given me the best results yet!  All I had to do was spray my damp hair and diffuse it.  As a result, my hair had so much volume and texture without giving my hair a hard texture like gel does.  The sea salt spray finishes off with a dry, natural voluminous locks.  Now you can get that beachy wavy hair any time of the year!

Davines Mat Forming Ground No 13 by Arleen Quinones

I would like to introduce to you a line of waxes created by Davines, the Wizard Line.

An assortment of waxes, you can combine or use seperately.  My favorite and the latest, is the Mat Forming Ground No 13.  Its a wax with a mat dry effect on hair, that gives extra grip with a rough sensation as well as structure and body to your hair.

I have short dense textured hair.  Finding a wax that didn’t make my hair greasy and look flat was a mission.  Until I tried Mat Forming Ground No 13, which I also like to combine with Glossy Plasteline No 6, to give my hair both with structure and shine.

Depending on the required finish you have, the wizard line will help, sculpt, mold and control the hair. I highly recommend this product to end your bad hair days for all textures.

Color Preservation by Arnulfo Garcia

As we may all know, a good color service is not cheap in the city, so i have several tips on how to preserve your color and lengthen the time between salon visits.  Contrary to popular belief, you shouldn’t wash your hair regularly but limit your shampoos to two or three times a week.  This will prevent your hair from being stripped of its natural oils which make your hair shiny and less dry.

Typically you should invest in color depositing shampoos and conditioners after any color service.  They help to maintain the hue and prevent fading by temporarily depositing color on the surface of the hair follicle.  These are highly recommended in between salon visits and designed to keep hair condition at its best.  You can also see a colorist for a gloss which will refresh your hair color and give great shine.
