The streets were manic in front of the Dash store where the kardashians gave us a “full frontal” view…of their faces, that is. So, we chose to “dash” in the opposite direction into John Varvatos. Cristiano flexed his muscles for the team and the reward was a red carpet treatment!! We zoomed past the guest list and headed straight into the smell of leather and men’s cologne. We had arrived…AHH! The walls were laced with photographs of rock icons through the ages that John had styled himself. Fashion inspiration for the eyes.
After an amazing night, we headed south. There they were, dominating over us, the twin tower lights. Fashion week is more than just fashion, it’s a stimulation of the senses, it’s an inspiring art form. 9/11 and fashion will forever be linked.
